Rotator Cuff Tendonitis Exercises

Rotator cuff tendonitis takes place when the tendons become too compressed or inflamed. This happens due to overuse of the tendon muscle, either through weight lifting, job duties or sport activities. Rotator cuff tendonitis causes a painful feeling in your arm and shoulders and limits your movement as well.

However unlike other rotator cuff injuries, rotator cuff tendonitis takes a while to show symptoms. At first many just think it is a discomfort in the shoulder area but with time it turns out to be rotator cuff tendonitis.

Nonetheless, rotator cuff tendonitis can be treated with proper shoulder strengthening exercises or rotator cuff tendonitis exercises. With these exercises you can gently strengthen the muscles around your rotator cuff, making the strong and preventing worse injuries that may require surgery. If you have overworked your rotator cuff muscles, you may consider resting from daily heavy duty work, training or sport activity.

Consult with your doctor for proper rotator cuff tendonitis exercises. Use only light weights and remember that if you feel any discomfort or pain during exercises you should discontinue.
